Join us for a tour of Colorado’s first battery storage microgrid.
Through a unique public/private partnership, Xcel Energy, Panasonic and Denver International Airport (DEN) developed and built the Panasonic Battery Demonstration Project. The unique battery storage system aims to facilitate the integration of renewable energy, enhance reliability of the distribution system, assist in providing voltage management and act to reduce peak demand. There will also be an opportunity to see Panasonic’s CityNow smart city showcase.
The tour will include:
- Panasonic’s Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Panasonic’s CityNow smart city showcase
- Carport solar and rooftop PV installations
- Battery storage/microgrid system
