September Safety Social – Cornhole Tournament at Wild Cider

For this month’s safety social, team up with an ASSP member or bring a friend to challenge other teams in a cornhole tournament.

Just in case you have been working too hard and don’t know what cornhole is, per Wikipedia, cornhole (also known regionally as bags, sack toss, or bean bag) is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn (or bean bags) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end.

Wild Cider is located at 11455 County Road 17, Firestone, CO 80504. They serve a wide variety of hard ciders and they have brick-oven pizza with a delicious gluten free option.

We will meet at Wild Cider at Noon on Saturday, September 21st. The tourney will start at 12:30ish, depending on how long it takes everyone to order their pizza and cider. We will match up individual players to form teams as needed. Even if you don’t want to play cornhole, come drink some cider and meet other safety professionals in the Denver area.

Please RSVP to Amanda at fishinqueen@me.com or call/text 419-788-0413, so we can give Wild Cider a general idea of how big a group we will have. Contact Amanda with any questions
