A large general contractor in Denver, CO is seeking a full time Safety Manager
This role involves ensuring compliance with federal and local safety regulations, managing site-specific safety programs, and overseeing subcontractor safety.
Site Safety Management:
Safety Training: Conduct safety orientation
Record Keeping: Maintain OSHA, state, federal, and project-specific documents.
Safety Enforcement: Authority to take corrective action and stop work if necessary.
First Aid and Medical Treatment: Ensure adequate first aid supplies, lead incident investigations, coordinate injury treatment, and facilitate modified duty for injured workers.
Communication and Reporting: Keep the Safety Team and Project Manager informed of safety issues. Review safety submittals, conduct daily safety inspections, respond to safety issues, compile safety statistics, and participate in meetings.
They are looking for someone with a CSP, ASP, GSP, SMS, CHST, or OHST certification or similar and extensive experience in construction safety.
