Job Summary
The EHS Manager leads safety initiatives at the Client site. This role drives a behavior-based safety culture, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports continuous improvement. The manager assists in building a strong safety culture, standardizing safety practices, and serves as a strategic partner to leadership.
Safety Leadership

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field
• CSP, ASP or other credentials preferred.
• 5-10 years experience in manufacturing preferred focus on FDA regulated production
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel 5-10%
• Strong collaboration skills

Role Summary
The Senior Safety Specialist will coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine and complex construction projects. This position will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, identifying and documenting abatement of hazardous conditions, writing reports and performing trend analysis. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities – Core
SAFETY SPECIALIST FAMILY – CORE
- Coordinates and implements the field safety program for routine construction projects.
- Conducts regular walk-through inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with laws and Company policies.
- Conducts safety audits on assigned projects by identifying, documenting and recommending abatement of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions to internal and external clients.Utilizes internal safety management systems to document findings and to track abatement techniques and closure.
- Conducts project-specific new hire orientation and oversees drug and alcohol policy compliance.
- Monitors the implementation of prime contractor and/or subcontractors’ safety programs.
- Attends project pre-planning, progress and other relevant project-related meetings to discuss safety-related matters.
- Supports field leadership in the implementation of the safety program specifics, such as meetings, committees and related activities well as chairing the project safety committee.
- Assists in the investigation of project-related accidents. Confers with supervisor to determine root cause and discuss recommendations for changes in the work processes to eliminate recurrence.
- Coordinates with injured employees and clinics to ensure that the worker attends treatment and is returned to work at some capacity in a timely manner. Compiles progress summary reports of injuries for supervisor.
- Monitors site safety incentive program.
Base compensation for the Senior Safety Specialist role in Colorado is between $95,150 and $118,938, depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive a target bonus based on both individual and company performance.
County Technical Services, Inc. – Senior Loss Control Specialist
Intergovernmental self-insurance pool seeks a qualified Loss Prevention/Control Representative to assist the loss control team in reducing multi-line losses/claims for public entities. This hybrid “work-from-home/office” position will need to reside/relocate in the Greater Denver Metro Area of Colorado. The position will be expected to travel regularly throughout the year, sometimes as much as 3 – 4 days per week, with overnight stays expected. A CTSI vehicle will be provided.
The position is responsible for safety, risk management, environmental, and health guidance, general consultation, program audits, and infrastructure and property surveys for CTSI members. The ideal candidate will be capable of developing and providing relevant training, such as webinars, classroom, and hands-on safety and health training.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science fields, Business or Public Administration. At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in safety and loss control activities including training and/or public speaking experience to groups, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of applicable practices, regulations/laws, excellent written and oral communication and computer skills, the ability to develop and present effective training programs. Being a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is a plus.

Salary Range:
The salary range for the position is $90,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
