ASSP Colorado Chapter Government Affairs Free Event – Workplace Safety Q&A Panel

Join us for an interactive Q&A panel featuring Chad Vivan, OSHA Area Director of the Englewood Area Office and Kristin White, Partner at Fisher Phillps.

This free event is sponsored by the Government Affairs Committee.

This session will focus on OSHA compliance and workplace safety questions submitted by attendees. Questions may be submitted in advance to help guide the discussion and ensure the panel addresses topics of interest to participants.

Speaker Bios:
Chad Vivian is the Area Director for the Englewood Area Office and has been in this role since 2020.  He began his career with OSHA in 2007 as a Compliance Officer and served in several other positions including Regional Safety Manager and Assistant Area Director.  Mr. Vivian has 25 years of experience in the safety and health field and is a Certified Safety Professional.
Kristin White is a partner in the Fisher Phillips Denver office and co-chair of the firm’s Workplace Safety Practice Group. Kristin counsels and defends clients in regulatory workplace safety matters, and often acts as crisis management counsel for employers across all industries.  She advises employers with respect to their obligations concerning injured workers, including navigating paid sick leave, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and other employer leave obligations.

 

How to Access the Conference Room:

This event is at the Triad Office Park. There are three large buildings on this campus. We will be at the 5680 South building. See attached photo with the building circled in red.
  • Parking is free. Please do not park in spots marked “Reserved” or designated for electric vehicles (unless you will be charging your electric vehicle).
  • Enter the building on the first floor and use elevators to go down one floor. 
  • Follow signs pointing towards the conference center. The conference room is on the hall opposite from the What-a-Sub shop.
