Join us for our March event where Andrew Halloran will present on Adventures in Radiation Protection: A Career in Heath Physics. This presentation will provide an overview of health physics and radiation protection, roles and certifications within the field and insight into health physics as it relates to public health.

Speaker Bio

Andrew Halloran, MS, CHP, is a Board Certified Health Physicist with over 10 years of experience across different fields of health physics and radiation protection. Andrew completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Louisiana State University, where he also worked as a research assistant and health physics intern at a radiation oncology center. After finishing graduate school, he worked for several years as a regulator and program manager for the state of Washington. Much of this time was spent engaging in a range of activities focused on public health and the environment. For the past 3 years, Andrew has been the Radiation Safety Officer for the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus.
