ASSP Colorado Chapter Member Appreciation Lunch and Learn

Join us on Thursday December 11 for a lunch and learn titled “Wellness and Preventive Care in the Workplace“, which will be presented by Andrea Holland, MD.

Description: Dr. Holland will be discussing how companies can use certain programs and interventions to improve the health and wellness of their employees and in turn reduce their rate of injury, reduce recovery times when injuries do occur, and overall reduce total health care costs.

Participants with learn:
– Major factors that put your employees at risk for injury and slow recovery.
– How we can use some of the same tools used to keep athletes in peak condition to identify these risk factors.
– What we do once we find at risk employees
– How finding and treating these preventable risk factors BEFORE they cause problems can reduce healthcare costs by 30% or more as well as improve employee happiness, productivity and retention.

This event is free for members and $35 for non-members. If you are a non-member and sign up and pay for a membership before the end of the event your $35 registration fee will be refunded to you.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Holland is a double board certified family medicine and sports medicine physician. She attended medical school at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, residency at Wake Forest and sports medicine fellowship at Duke University. She currently serves as a team physician for the Denver Broncos Football Club and is co-owner of Midtown Occupational Health.
